A low-rise building on the ground floor and two upper levels, the apartments comprise two studios, a one bedroom apartment, and ten two bedroom apartments.
These are simply designed with cool whitewashed walls in the traditional style. Most have south facing patio or balcony, the upper apartments having an ocean view.
Those in the main building look onto the swimming pool and sun terrace where a convivial bar serves snacks and cold drinks throughout the day until 8 pm. There is a shared barbeque area too, and nicely lawned gardens enclosed by a surrounding hedge. There is also a tennis court.
There you can find a splendid variety of a local and international restaurants, as well as ice-cream parlous, souvenirs shops and great bars including everyone’s favourite Irish bar, Erin’s Isle. Even closer to Casa Areias, 500 mts away in fact, are three well-known local eateries, whilst the delightfully picturesque beach at Santa Eulália is 3.5 kms distant, as is Praia da Oura beach.
Casa Areias offers a great location if you are seeking nothing more strenuous than lazy days beside the pool and relaxed evenings nearby. It is also perfectly placed for using your car to seek out more of the Algarve’s fabulous beaches, some two dozen superb golf courses, as well as picturesque country scenes, historical towns or colorful marinas.
